Vinny Del Negro was offered the job. He is 100% going to accept. Im not sure how I feel about this. I like former players becoming coaches because they are usually players coaches and know what its like to be on the court. We'll have to see. It really doesn't look good that Pax let alot of solid legitimate candidates slip away. I don't think Vinny was on anyone else's radar as far as head coaches go. Oh well. Hopefully he can gain the respect of the players and turn things around. We can't get much worse than what happened last season. I wonder who he likes in the draft?

this is funny..the bulls went from a young hot team, to a team in total shambles.....their young guys arent producing like they should be and they traded away a good chunk of players last season...now this whole coaching problem is going to hurt them even more....but atleast they finally got their man

No, DOug Collins isn't going to be a coach, part of the reason he didn't end up coaching the Bulls was because players today are so hard to handle.
As for Del Negro, I don't like the hire just because he has no coaching experience. If we had a veteran team then maybe I would like it more, but with so many young talented players I want our coach to demand their attention and respect through his name and action. Maybe this guy will be good enough to handle these guys, but I have my doubts. |

The guy was asking if Collins was going to be a coach anywhere in the NBA, not just the Bulls. Granted, there aren't any openings, but Collins isn't looking to return to the bench as it stands.
