The ref (Tim Donaghy) that was popped for betting on games has filed new material with the court that has the NBA sending in their own refs for game 6 and 7 of the 2002 western conference finals Kings/Lakers..to make sure the lakers won. ill post more as it becomes more detailed...

Pure Bullshit. He doesn't want to look like the monster he is and wants the blame elsewhere. This guy is pathetic. Im sure the NBA told Vlade to tip the ball to Horry and for Horry to be in the right place and for the ball to 100% go in.

You can see al ittle of what he is saying in the dont eject the superstars. They mostly get away with so much yelling cursing arguing with the refs that alot of others wouldnt. watch Kobe in these playoffs alone he bitches so much are argues so much with the refs but you know they would not dream of giving him a T or ejecting him

i wouldn't call it bs. yes, the refs had nothing to do with that one play, but bibby getting a haymaker from bryant, stojakovic getting slapped in the face on a shot attempt, and the countless other non calls in that series, i wouldn't doubt it. there's been rumblings about this for a long time, and it's about time somebody came out and said something about it. the nba has been rigging the lottery forever, so fixing games is not out of the realm of possibility.

^^^^^ Im with Jerome more is done than people want to let on. There is many little things here and there that get swept under the rug. Why do you think they dont do the Draft Lotto Live. Would make the most sense would it not. The ratings and fan support would be through the roof to see it over opening some stupid envelopes.

Even though the guy is a felon, he reached a plea deal which I'm sure it means he gets a lesser sentence if he helps uncover an even bigger scandal....so really he has every reason to tell the truth.

That 02 playoff series between LA and Sac was manipulated and it was obvious. Game 5 the Lakers got utterly screwed and then got a makeup game in game 6 where the Kings got hosed.

I'm watching David Stern's interview on ESPN and he looks about as nervous as a hooker in church. If this is true, this is a bigger scandal than Steriods in baseball, Spygate, and the Chicago Blacksox.
