Angry Can we stop the Kobe/Jordan Comparisons now

Jordan doesn't let that lead slip in the Game 4 and shoot that bad from the floor like Kobe Did /of thread

They should never have been made in the first place. As a die hard Laker fan, I tired of them myself.

There's so much truth to what Chubz stated: There's no way the best in the game ALLOWS his team to lose a 24 point lead in an NBA Finals Game. He has to will his team to victory and pick up the slack and make sure this type of historic collapse doesn't take place.

Boston almost fell victim to this in Game 2 and luckily was able to pull it out without the best player on the planet. How the Lakers failed to do so with him is beyond me.

I think I'm going to vomit again.

im not a fan of either team, i watched and was getting ready to watch Kobe take over and it never happened. I was highly dissapointed, I wanted that Jordan feeling, catch my drift.

There is only ONE Jordan. Comparing Jordan to Kobe is like comparing my S2K to a built Supra. They both are sports cars.... But only one of them kick ass....

I think Kobe said it best, in that ESPN conversation just some weeks ago. Michael is Michael, let Kobe be Kobe. Unfortunately, the sports world is based on comparisons. So, when people look at young talent, they see 'something' in them to base them off 'some player.'

Kobe Bryant is one of the best in the league, he may go down as one of the best in this era, but no he is no where near Michael Jordan. Period.

Well said, Southern. I agree. Although, to be honest I don't even think Kobe is the best in the league. My pick is Lebron.

Finally all these stupid announcers can stop comparing Kobe to MJ. Now that the Celtics beat the Lakers, they can put it to rest.

KObe is still the leagues most dangerous offensive player but this finals showed that lockdown defenders can still put a snag to waht the best players can do. PP was on kobe a fair share but whenver Posey was in he was messing with Kobe so much and playing some of the best defense I have seen in years

You Garuntee L.A. will win it all? Thats pretty bold. N.O. is only getting better. Spurs will be back too. They are not a LOCK to repeat in the West.
