Well that's the thing. Nothing. It was that idiot Clay Bennett. It's his hometown, so he felt it deserved an NBA franchise.

the Oklahoma City Thundercats is the dumbest name i have ever hear, how does a room full of adults come up with this name....it just shows the stupidity of society....they know know that most good names are 2 syllables or less....most names that are more get chopped down...IE...supernoics - sonics, Knickerbockers - Knicks, Devil Rays- rays....stupid long names never work

From what I'm hearing they have no officially named them anything yet. They have 3 or 4 options they are still choosing from. This is why they have no had press conferences on their new players.

They don't have the nickname or the jerseys ready for that and are waiting to do so before they have any press conferences.

I find it amusing they had all the OKC stuff within hours after they agreed on the move. Talk about David Stern backstabbing Seattle.

thats why David Stern is the worst commissioner for all the sports...the guy is as crooked as anyone...he will do anything for the NBA to make a buck...and thats wrong..
