So the official name of the old Sonics is the Thundercats. Thoughts? I think its stupid. Im still bitter they left Seattle though.

that's it? will they have the thunder cats logo also? This is ridicuolous. They at least could have associated it with Oklahoma in some way, or used some alliteration. Alliteration is sweet.

I would have gone with say, the Outlaws, Desparados, Wranglers.... all better then the thundercats.

The Oklahoma City Thundercats is the worst name in professional team sports. This can't be true. They just want to see how fans will react. The Oklahoma City Dunkadelics is cool, hip, and works with the NBA players of today. It rhymes with Supersonics. The Sonics or Dunkadelics not the Thundercats.

Scheme up a plan with David Stern to steal an NBA franchise and move it to Oklahoma City. [x]
Buy the Seattle SuperSonics/Seattle Storm and lie to the fans and the city having fingers crossed underneath media table. [x]
Anounce the movement of both franchises to Oklahoma City in a few years, ignore the hatred towards me.[x]
Sell the Seattle Storm back to the city so they have at least one sports title.[x]
Get the city excited about Kevin Durant while planning to move the team after the current season rather than a few years. [x]
Move a favorite franchise to Oklahoma City [x]
Name the team something cool. [x]
Laugh in my big expensive home as Oklahoma City takes a NBA team while I flip the bird at a picture of the landscape of Seattle.
Call David Stern and thank him for planning it from the start.

David Stern and Clay Bennett should go burn for screwing Seattle.

I heard this on the NBA summer league broadcast. They said it was for sure the Thundercats. But your right, I can't find it anywhere either. Maybe they were wrong....

The Thundercats isn't the real name of the team. Its just something the announcers made up because they didn't have a name and they were too stupid to call them Oklahoma City.
