He won't be crap unless the Knicks find a PG to set him up and Duhon is decent but he won't ever be more than a stopgap starter. Did I say Crawford was a loser???? He hasnt been shooting well because he put on weight and had a back problem you fucking moron. And now he had surgery and hes back and lost weight he 5 pounds away from where he was when he was shooting good. Hes been working hard this offseason. And id take Q-rich on my squad anyday. And duhon hasnt had a chance to show his stuff. You cant show your stuff sitting on the bench. Hes most likely looking at a starting job here in new york, where he can show his stuff.

if you are a fan of duke basketball you should know that no Duke guys go on to make it big in the NBA....for some reason the players cant make the transition from Coach K's gameplan to another coaches...Duhon will be nothing better than an average player in NY....just like Allen Houston, Stephon Marburry, and Jamal Crawford..they all had potential untill they came to NY.....the Knicks are the NBA equivilant to the Raiders....everyoens stats go down when they sign

hah its nothing against you man...but im gonna do it again..

ok...Grant Hill and Christan Laettner are not doing anything in the NBA let alone GREAT things....Grant Hill had potential, thats for sure but injuries stopped that...as for the the rest of them...you are naming guys that have not yet faded into the black of the NBA bench players....Brand and Maggette could still work it out to be a semi-superstar in the NBA, Boozer will never be nothign more than a role player, there is nothing wrogn with that, im just saying, a Duke guy will rarely come out and be a true superstar. Deng is probably one of the most over rated players around...but i am kinda biased to against him because i remember seeing a story on ESPN about how he came to America to get an education and he wasnt going to leave Duke early...and then what does he do, he leaves early...which i have no problem with people leaving early, but when someone says they arent and then they go ahead and leave, that just shows me that the person only thinks about themselves...just like Carmello Anthony, after he won the national title sarycuse held the parade and his EXACT WORDS, "i thought you had to go to college for 4 years" that was after someone asked if he was leaving....well you all know what happened next....i dont like when someone goes against a word and only thinks about themselves

Deng got hyped because he had a good season in 06-07 and was looking like the type of franchise guy the Bulls needed... he still has the potential...

Duhon is a good solid team player, but he loves the nightlife, so watch out NYC.

As far as leaving early... words are just words, especially from NCAA Basketball players... you have to be selfish in this life at times to get where you want to be... I don't fault any player in college who says they'll be back and then enters the draft... you have to strike while the iron is hot, and I think it's smart for a player to get signed while his value is high rather than risk an injury... gotta take care of yourself... especially when it's something as petty as sports.

I don't care what anyone says, Carlos Boozer is good as hell. He is one of the top PF in this league, period. He is WAY more then a role player. He has a very nice jumpshot and a very good inside game. Great rebounding skills as well. Without him Utah would be ALOT worse. He was being talked about in MVP discussions year before last.

Brand is also a legit player from Duke. Grant Hill was before the injuries.

Laettner was always trash.

Battier and Deng are just solid 2nd and 3rd options. Maggette is a legit player in the league as well.

i dont have a problem with a player leaving early...i agree you do have to stike while the iron is hot and you should get your money when you have the chance...but if someone plans on leaving early they shouldnt telling everyone that they arent....

Also, I think Jamal Crawford can be a very productive player with the right coach and team. I think this year he is going to be huge with D'Antoni. I also think he is better suited to being a pg.

I agree, Crawford did some big things to establish himself as a point scorer last year and with D'Antoni on the floor, who knows what the Knicks can do.

I read in the newspaper today that David Lee's name is in trade talks, which I seriously suggest the Knicks DONT DO. One of the best rebounders in the league IMO.
