ESPN's Stephen A. Smith is reporting that Tracy McGrady would welcome a trade to the Pistons, although no deal is currently in place.

"Is Tracy McGrady interested? Yes he is," Smith said. "I spoke to Tracy McGrady earlier. His basic thing is he's very happy in Houston but he wants to win. So whatever is a winning situation for him is something he is more than willing to entertain." Smith also says the Pistons would be willing to talk to the Rockets about acquiring T-Mac. This is going to be an interesting summer.

Yeah, this has been a rumor for a few weeks now. Im not sure who Detroit would have to give up but Im almost sure it would have to include Chauncy and or Prince.

The only question is if McGrady will finally win a playoff series if he were to go to Detroit.

the rumor is, Houston doesnt want Billups, they like their point guard situation....the word is, they want Rip Hamilton and Teysaun Prince.....

i dont know how i feel about this deal yet...it kinda scares me with T-Macs injury history and stuff...im not worried about his playoff record...he hasnt had the best of people around him

His playoff record means nothing. Just like KG's. Sometimes that just how the chips fall. He isn't cursed. Although - Rip and Prince and Add TMac and I just dont see that making Detroit better....

yeah TMac is good for 1-2 stints on the DL every year.
