Penn State dismisses WR Bell

Chris Bell has been dismissed from the Penn State football team in the wake of his arrest for threatening teammate Devon Still with a knife Monday night at the team training table. According to the affidavit of probable cause from University Police, Bell approached Still at the table in the Pollock Dining Commons shortly before 6:30 p.m., pulled a knife with an 8-inch blade from his shirt sleeve, and challenged Still, who said the two had discussed Still's suspicion that Bell had stolen a cell phone case from him. According to Still's statement, Bell said, "Come get the case and I am going to stab you." Later, after Penn State assistant coaches Mike McQueary, Dick Anderson and Kermit Buggs and graduate assistant Sam Perryman had separated the two, Bell is quoted as having said, "I have more knives and a gun up here." -- Pittsburgh Tribune-Review

I dont know much about Penn State football, but from what I hear the coach could put Bob Knight into shame. So this is probably normal.
