anyway I think Georgia will take the SEC championship this year...

however this years underdog that is going to kick ass and take names in the SEC for the first time in years.....


S. Carolina. They went 6-0 before their defense was plagued with injuries and with the exception of 2 games in the middle of the season the offense showed that it could rack up big points against great teams. Best of all we no longer have Blake "interception" Mitchelle.

I'm not going to put a list up, but really not because I'm afraid of being wrong. This conference, Top to Bottom is one of the toughest to try and predict than any Big BCS conference. Pretty much, I'll count out these teams. Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Tennessee and Auburn.

Auburn vs. Georgia in the SEC title game with Georgia winning by a slim margin. LSU has lost too much and Nick Saban doesn't have what it takes to turn Alabama that quick. By the time it's time for Alabama to actually do something, Saban will probably take another job.

Georgia will NOT win the SEC...LSU or Florida will..alabama WONT be 2nd in the east... and i am with DOHCDELSOL....S. Carolina will be a sleeper team to watch this year....

Georgia has a nearly impossible schedule this year and if they can get through it with under 3 losses it will be amazing....they have the best team but the road games they have are insane

S. Carolina will have one hell of an offence despite having a shaky offense on paper.

I'd rather have a great D and a shaky offense any day of the week

Defense is what wins you games and SEC titles!

They had the best defensive numbers in the SEC last season until over a half dozen starters on the D went out with season long injury by game 6

Lets not forget what we did to Georgia, Kentucky and Old Miss last year.

We have a team with alot of finess. Most of our points were all during the 3rd-4th qtr when we had worn the other teams out and it was smooth sailing.

Event with a back up D we gave Tenn one hell of a run for their money, same with Florida, it's hard to score 30+ points on Florida I don't care what football team you are.

Granted we gave up 40+ but i have a feeling that we have enough depth on the D this year that it will not be as tramatic to have a few injurys as it was last year.

By 2010 you will be hearing S. Carolina as contenders for the Natonal Championship!

I kid you not! They have had a school and stadium big enough to be a contendor for years. Now they have the coach with the ability to recruit. It won't be long now.

well they have the schedule to do good this year...Georgia, LSU, Tennessee are all at home...Florida on the road is the only hard road game....kentucky wont be anything this year..

i like seeing top 10 teams come to S.Carolina to play. A great place for SEC upsets.

no one in the SEC likes to play in Williams-Brice staduim. It big, it's loud and home to 20,000 gamecock fans.

A great place to lose a few seats in the BCS rankings.

I'm not worried about playing Florida in the swamp. Spurrier always gets S.Carolina pumped to play his old team and since his rein over S.Carolina has started they have not been able to run up the score on us without us trailing right behind.

should our D have been in good shape we could have won against Florida being that we racked up 31 points.

I am going to say that it will be Georgia Florida in the East

and Bama Auburn in the West


I would not count out Saban and the tide yet. Good year recruiting and we should have a good team this year....either way ROLL TIDE..
