Alot of sports writers think so. They went into Michigan and beat them in their own house. What do you guys think? I think so

Coming into the "house" of a national title contender, who was chosen to win the Big Ten conference... again, and beating them, is a feat in its own right. Being a I-AA college team and pulling this off is beyond remarkable. it's amazing. This is the biggest upset of my time; it really can't get any bigger than that.

This is the only time in history of college football that a 1-AA team has beaten a ranked 1-A team, let alone a top 5 team. Michigan was suspect before the season started and App has been strong for the past few years but no team in any sport has beaten an overwhelming opponent in their back yard. They were supposed to be an "easy" warm up game, a lamb lead to slaughter if you will.
If nothing else yes this is the greatest upset in college football history. However it's also one of the greatest upsets in all of sports. |

That game was the biggest upset I've seen, but it seemed like it was almost expected to happen.

I-AA team went into the "Big House" in Ann Arbor in front of 100,000+ screaming Wolverines fans and beat a Top 5 team that was supposed to contend for the title.
Biggest upset in history? Pretty damn close. |

While I understand that considering the rankings and divisions and all that, this is probably the biggest upset, I have to disagree.
To me Michigan had not been established as a #5 team. If they were ranked #5 heading into week 8 or something and THEN they got beat, to me that'd be a bigger deal and truly the biggest of all time. See where I'm comin from? |
