Redskins Agree To Terms On Deal For Jason Taylor - The Postgame Pub

Jason Taylor is on the verge of dancing on over to the Washington Redskins. FOXSports.com has learned that the Miami Dolphins have agreed to terms on a trade that would send the All-Pro defensive end and reality show star to the 'Skins in exchange for a second-round pick. The teams were hopeful to have the deal finalized later Sunday night. The move speaks volumes about the severity of the injury sustained by Redskins defensive end Phillip Daniels during the first day of Washington's training camp. According to reports, Daniels injured his left anterior cruciate ligament during 7-on-7 drills Sunday and it was believed that the injury was season-ending. Taylor started all 16 games for Miami during the Dolphins' woeful 2007 season. But even as the Dolphins went 1-15, Taylor still showed a glimmer of the ability that made him the 2006 Defensive Player of the Year, leading the team with 11 sacks.

the best division in the league continues to get better. It will be interesting how he will work back into their 43 schemes, but I don't see this as being the move that takes the Skins out of 3rd place in the division

Good for him. Hopefully he gets a better chance at the playoffs with the Skins. I'll be sure to keep my eye on the NFC East now.

Amazing deal for the Phins. A second round pick is WAY more then I thought they would get. Especially if Taylor retires after this season like he said he was.

Well. No offense to Sweets, but the 49ers haven't been really much of a threat the last few years. The Cardinals are getting better but they don't have the energy. And St. Louis is shit nowdays, I don't see them doing much damage.

Easy come, easy go. I'll take it because it means another division for my team. But the NFC East will be entertaining. More so than the North or South.

oh yea...meaning your seahawks can drift into the playoffs...but if they were in a better conference they wouldnt have a chance
