Redskins DE Jason Taylor was carted to the locker room after suffering what the team is calling a right knee sprain. It certainly looked bad and the Pro Bowler was writhing in pain on the field and on the sidelines. He was being evaluated on the sidelines and was carted off to the medical room a moment ago.

Hmm. If he's hurt this year, talk about a waste of a trade. Just another dumb move by Dan Snyder if that's the case.

They over paid for him anyway. I mean the guy is 33 and his contract is $8 million this season (including a $500,000 roster bonus, and $8.5 million next season, including the same $500,000 bonus), which means its the same as if he was with the Dolphins. The skins gave up a 2nd round pick in 09 and a 6th round pick in 2010...like I said..OVERPAID

This is the Redskins we're talking about here. They over pay every single person to get them to come here, and they turn into a bust.

It's bad news for the Redskins, that is for sure. I'm kind of dissapointed though, as I've always liked Jason Taylor. I wanted to see him in the NFC East too, because he could definetely be a game changer at his position. Hope he turns out alright.

I can't believe that they kept him in during a 47-3 blowout. As much as I like Jim Zorn, he should have known better than that to keep a big money player like that in.

i would agree with this. Last year, Jason Campbell got injured in preseason; giving us Redskins fans a big scare. Yet, he played a full half against carolina! Scary stuff.
