Tom Brady: "I don't respect the Jets"

Tom Brady was on Boston's WEEI this morning to promote a charity bike ride he is participating in.
The Patriots' quarterback used the time to discuss the Jets New York Jets and Giants, who he had much different takes on.
"I wish we had made plays at certain times, but they made the plays and they deserve it," Brady said of their 17-14 Super Bowl setback to the Giants New York Giants . "I have a lot of respect for that team because they work hard and have a lot of great leaders on that team. It's kind of a blue-collar team and when you do lose a game you at least want to lose a team you respect. I don't respect everybody, but I do expect the Giants."
Who is the team he doesn't respect, you ask.
"They have four letters in their name," Brady said.
WEEI's host asks do they wear green?
"Yeah, those guys."
Last I checked the Rams don't wear green uniforms, so he was probably talking about the Jets.

He better respect the Giants, they only knocked him on his ass at will.

Haha. Its all from the whole Mangini-Bellichek fued. Regardless of who he does or doesn't respect though, he is IMO the best QB to ever play. And yes I have watched Montana-Elway-Marino-Manning ect.

You can't be that old???lol Have you really watched Marino and Elway play? I mean game to game from their rookie season? I am not doubting Brady. I think he is a top 5 QB, but to say he is the best ever is IMO crazy. But that is just me.

Brady IMO is like an Emmit Smith. Just part of a GREAT system. Would you say that Emmit smith is better than Barry Sanders just because of the yards? Or that he is better than Walter Payton? Because put either one of those backs in that system and guess what??? The bar is set WAY higher.. Just a thought...

Lol. I have not watched them game by game from thier rookie seasons obviously but Im old enough to remember all of them. I watched ALOT of football back in the day. It was my first love as far as sports go. I loved Montana and Warren Moon and all those guys. Marino was crazy good. But after watching all of them, IMO Brady is just the best.

I also watched as much of Jerry Rice as I could growing up, but I think Randy Moss is the best WR ever.

Ok.. Fair enough. But to say that you think Moss is better than Rice? Actually, I think I will let the majority of PGP decide that one. But IMO I think Rice is beyond the best. But again that is just me.
