Packers rookie QB Brian Brohm is preparing for his initial NFL season as if he will play right away and not ride the bench. "For me, I'm preparing as if I'm going to be playing. I think that's the way every player needs to look at it," said Brohm, a three-year starter at Louisville and the second of the Packers' three second-round picks last month. "You have to prepare as if you're going to be on the field, as if you 're going to be the guy playing. And if I am, or if I'm not, I need to be ready to do that. I need to be able to prove in the preseason and then in the camps that I can go out there and do it. That's my mindset coming into this camp.

Man, I forgot that he went to GreenBay. Very solid draft pick for the Packers. Him and Rodgers will be battling it out from the start of TC.

I really like Brian Brohm, he's very intelligent when it comes to football. If we might recall if he wouldve left college a year before he did he wouldve been a top 5 pick, and now he's a 2nd rounder. Very nice steal by the packers.

I've been reading that at the OTA's Rodgers is looking really good, of course that's not game time but it's good to know that the bench time he had hasn't hurt him, at least not yet.
