Ex-Lions WR Rogers to Vikings?
Charles Rogers made a verbal agreement to play with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League last month, but he never signed a contract and didn't attend the training camp that started on May 29. Former Saginaw High coach Don Durrett said the No. 2 pick of the 2003 draft -- released by the Lions in 2006 -- is still hunting for an NFL job. ''He's had a couple workouts with some teams and has a workout with the Minnesota Vikings,'' Durrett said. -- Saginaw News

I've always liked him. He has Big time Talent. If he stayed in shape and is injury free then he could be a productive WR in the NFL.

^ Uh, Berrian, Rice, and Wade are all much, much better than Charles F'ing Rogers.
![]() And it was a false report. he's visiting several teams, but the Vikings are not one of them. |

Berrian is streaky. Rice I think can turn into a gem, and Wade really didn't do too much last year, despite being their number one. The real case of any of this working out, Rogers or not, is that T-Jack be able to throw the ball well.
