Its been reported that the Lions may be in the market for Raider RB Lamont Jordan. Jordan was sent home by Oakland and told that he was not in the teams plans. Likely he will bring back a 6th or 7th round draft selection.

Last Detroit running back to gain over 1,000 yards was Kevin Jones in 2004. Not like they'd run the ball there anyway. Kitna's going to be throwing it up for grabs, weither it's in the hands of Detroit recievers or opposing defenders. And if he's not throwing the ball in the air, he's getting tossed to the ground.

I think they should go for it. I am a fan of a power back shouldering the load and wearing out the defense, then having a change of pace guy come in and break some runs later on in the game. But maybe that's only because the Giants do it perfectly.
