my heart goes out to his family and friends especially his 18 month old girl, no child should have to go through that. |

Sad news for Taylor's family, but this wasn't a random thing. This was premeditated on the part of the attacker. Once the full story comes out, what will we think then? What did HE do to make this guy break into his house and leave a knife on his bed....cut his phone lines......c'mon. Something he did caused this and put his fiancee and his 18-month old daughter in danger.
Say what you want about Taylor.....offer your condolences.....whatever....but I kinda doubt that Sean Taylor is entirely the victim here. I have little respect for a man who puts himself in a position to have bullets flying around his house and around his child. In some form or fashion, Sean Taylor brought this upon himself and almost unto his child and child's mother. |

He was one of my favorite players, and it just sucks that this had to happen. The doctors said his hand movement prior to his passing was probably just his way of saying goodbye. Last year, it was Darrent Williams, and this year, it's Sean Taylor. |

Where did I say he "deserved" this? I didn't, fucktard. Deserving something and bringing this upon yourself and possibly YOUR FAMILY? But if YOU think this was just some random crime....you are incredibly niave and need to stop the NFL hero worship for 2 seconds and look at the facts here.
- A man with a checkered past, weather or not he's cleaned it up or not, he was no stranger to violence, guns, and running afoul of the law. That is a FACT. - He tells Coach Gibbs that he needs to be in Miami, and not with the team in DC, because he "has some things to take care of." - 8 days ago his house is broken into, but nothing is taken. Wow. That's some real bad burgerly on their part. But, oh wait....they left a knife on his bed. Guess in their hurry to not take anything, they accidentally left something on his bed. - He slept with a f*cking MACHETTE. Guess you never know when you'll have the urge to get up at 3am and go chop some bananas of sugercane, right? - His phone lines were cut. Now, I've been late on my phone bill before but I've never had the phone company come cut my phone line. - He was shot in the groin. Now, being a cop, I've seen my share of gun wounds. Unless you are an incredibly bad shot, if you want to wound somebody, you shoot them high. In the chest, arm, shoulder. Very, very rarely have I EVER come across a gunshot wound in the leg or groin that wasn't intentional. So, clearly.....this was all completely random. In a gated community with no history of break-ins or violence too. The world's biggest coincidence. Nothing Sean Taylor did or said to somebody or somebodies caused this to happen right? I feel for his family, his fiance, his 18-month old daughter....I really do. But there's no way that Taylor was the victim of some random crime. He was targeted and it was for a reason and I bet it wasn't because he didn't give money to the Salvation Army bell ringer. Miami cops are saying this was 100% planned. |

I was shocked when i heard the news this morning. He was one of my players since he was in a Canes uniform. This is sad.

Didn't he USED to run with a gang? Gangs have been known to hunt down people who quit the life and try to make something of themselves. There are thousands of ex-gang members in prison not because of getting caught breaking the law while in, but because of intentionally breaking the law because they would certainly be killed if not in prison. The reason I say this is because of the multiple break-ins, and the gun brandishing incident a few years ago. He could have easily been trying to ward off a thug with an old vendetta.
