I saw this coming, especially after seeing him be troubled with concussions this past season.

I just bought his jersey for $10 from the Miami Dolphins Pro Shop.

If he ends up in New England, I'm torching the jersey.

I dont know about NE, maybe the Jets....the Pats already have an old core as it is. One thing about thomas, is that when he was on his game, he was awesome

Another update.

NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports the Patriots made free agent Zach Thomas a contract offer Monday.

It appears Thomas passed a physical. He still plans to visit the Saints on Tuesday, and they would probably provide him the best chance to start. This figures to be the 34-year-old Thomas' last NFL contract, so he may take the most lucrative offer possible.

Wow, if he goes to the Pats that a very good move by them. He is 34 yes, but he can still play. Good guy to come in every few possessions.

Yeah, they have an LB core like most teams have a DL core... rotation, rotation, rotation... they're all getting long in the tooth, but dammit if they aren't all pretty damn good.
