Seahawks linebacker Julian Peterson and Defensive End Bakara Atkins have new jersey numbers coming into the 2008 season.

Reasoning is because Julian Peterson wanted his old 98 number he had back in his 49er days. He couldn't have it in 2006 because of Grant Wistrom, but the article on seattlepi.com didn't state why he didn't switch in 2007. But anywho.
