Pats are 0-3. I think they lose again to be honest. They don't really give a shit about preseason. Both teams are pretty banged up from what the reports say.

we're up 13-0 at the half, not that anyone really cares.
What I take away from what limited time I saw the starters: 1) If our starting O-line remains in tact (our RT McKenzie didn't play), We can still run the ball with the best of them. Jacobs is due for a big year. 2) Spags is trying to make due with what we have on defense, and we still got pressure. Our secondary is improved. 3) David Carr got the start behind the the mostly starter O-line and looked decent enough to be Eli's insurance policy, leading the first drive to a TD. Add 1 more TD pass behind the backups and he cemented the no. 2 spot. |

Also should add that Derrick Ward is looking like he has recovered from his broken leg that he suffered the day he lit up the bears for 150+ yards last season. Our offense is still gonna be good.
Carr looked good again first drive after the half and almost gets us in the endzone again. 16-0 |

Not much action at wide reciever outside of the younger guys. Toomer and Burress sat, and Smith only had 2 or 3. This was the first quiet game Hixon had all preseason. Manningham had a nice 12 yarder. We made some nice plays to our tight ends with Kevin Boss also sitting.

Not really sure why, but David Carr has played all of the 3rd quarter and led us to another field goal 2 minutes into the 4th. Giants lead 19-0 because earlier, this kicker missed an extra point. I hope Tynes healthy enough to play next week.

well I mean what more do you expect of him? lol
But I guess the G-Men already have their QB situation sorted out, because they placed the entire game in the hands of David Carr, and he actually played well. The thing is, he did REALLY well against the Pats 1st defense. All I can say is that it's better than J-Load the Hefty Lefty as the insurance policy. |

I'm kind of happy that Carr is getting his chance as a backup with the G-Men. Besides... I've never liked Jared Lorenzen. Plus I thought he was too big to be a QB. I saw him play in the Colts opening game at Lucas Oil... he was winded trying to tackle the guy that intercepted him.
