Per fox sports, Strahan will retire. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/8...ahan-to-retire
I thought there was a chance that he wouldn't retire but I guess in the end he retires on top, |

The last couple of years I've felt that he needed to go, and then he came out and played one hell of a playoff stretch and truly proved himself to be a leader this year. I know many people, including my father are happy to see him leave because of the selfishness he showed last year by not showing up until the season began. Thanks for coming up big when it counted Mike, now you can go back to the half of your assets you have left from your divorce!

It's not like Strahan wasn't effective last year, he had 9 sacks. They are going to miss him. But now that Puts Tuck in the LE.

I don't think we'll miss his production as much as leadership. Everyone is getting sacks in the new system. Ideal pass rush situation: Osi, Kiwanuka, Wynn, Tuck all on the line.

Strahan had an excellent career and has made LT proud to wear the blue. Is it just me or was the biggest offseason move of keeping Steve Spagnola the best??? This guy is a great coordinator and puts his players in great positions to win. Im rlly excited about this year with the new safety from miami and Mario Manningham.

Strahan is a legendary football player and is a true professional. As he got older, he perhaps got a bit lazy but the man is truly one of the best defensive linemen in NFL history. I think we'll be just fine though, with Tuck Osi and Kiwi. Like a previous poster said, we'll definetly miss his leadership but we'll be fine productionwise.

Even with me being a Dallas fan I am sad to see such a class act player go. Strahan is def. a top 10 pass rusher of all time. The only good thing about his retiring is he wont give us any more fits.. LOL
