My love for the 49ers started with my dad, being from Hawaii with no pro team of any kind he started watching the 49ers because we had relatives in California and as a small child I would wake up and watch the games with him because I loved my daddy and anything I could do to be closer to him I would do. It's dedication when you're up at 7am to watch a pro football game before even breakfast. I continue to root for them because I grew up with them.

G men cuz i grew up with them and their let downs till last year. Im from ny so it was either the giants or the jets and the giants were just easier to watch.

it's a family thing. Season tix were my grandfather's and are now in my possession. But that's a whole different story that I will post soon about.

I started watching football when I was 8 or 9. Dad always watched the Seahawks, as did Mom. During my time learning about how football was played, it was during the Seahawks games. I went to the summer camp in 1998, and I got to meet Warren Moon. He was very nice and he was generous to give me his practice jersey. I went to an exhibition in the Kingdome in 1999 against the Bills. I remember it was a huge hype that Holmgren came to Seattle to be coach. From that point on I started to become a gradual Seahawks fan. Now, I'm pretty much a die hard fan. I have been to Qwest Field, and I have seen them there as well, and I enjoyed every minute of it. I have over 1,000 Seahawks football cards, over 50 cards signed by players in camp, t-shirts, jerseys, blankets, mini-football helmets.... On my plug in hard drive for the computer, I have a folder dedicated to people who've played for them since 1976. Checking the file info, I have about 628 images saved on there. I even had the Hawks logo placed on one of the sides of my High School class ring. They may not be the Patriots or the Giants, but they're my team. People think I bleed green and blue because of how much I love them. But hey: that's the beauty of sports.

Wow TK that's a great story, my boyfriends fav. all time player is Warren Moon, Moon was the reason he became an Oiler fan back in the day.

Moon was a very nice guy to talk to, even if it was for just a few seconds. Even in interviews, he seemed very nice. It's a shame he never won a Super Bowl, but at least he got a spot in the Hall of Fame.

I like Warren Moon as well. Great QB.

However, I think Im the lone member of PGP to rep the RAIDER NATION! I grew up when Bo Jackson was around. I loved him and followed everything he did. Also I just love Raider mentality, the toughness and the swagger. Silver and Black uniforms.... Im a Raider fan for life.
