i must say, i'm pretty disappointed with portis's comments regarding the seriousness of animal cruelty. to say such acts are no big deal is an outrage.

Killing babies is also a felony, but hell, Its their property, and their baby, people should just mind their own business. It can't be too bad of a crime.
