Ricky Williams who?
Lorenzo Booker has already taken over his locker, and now will be getting his carries. Believe it, or not, he was looking forward to working with Williams, and learning from him. "Regardless of what the guy does on his own time, he's a great football player, and no one can take the from him," said Booker. Ronnie Brown has already become close with Booker. Some of the lessons Brown has learned since his NFL debut have been shared with Booker. He also says that Booker will have an immediate impact on the team. Cam Cameron is saying that Booker will be "a change-of-pace guy," which means he can do just about anything... run, catch, and even return the ball. |

In other news, Lorenzo Booker was signed to a 4-year deal. The same applies to FB Reagan Mauia.

Jeff Darlington, of the Miami Herald, reports Miami Dolphins WR Chris Chambersis moving from the Z position to X receiver, which should allow him more space to exploit mismatches. Head coach Cam Cameron says Chambers has embraced the change through the initial stages of workouts. Chambers said several factors led to his disappointing 2006 season, but said lack of continuity in the offense and trust was chief reasons. Chambers said trust has been resolved. He also takes comfort knowing Cameron's offense with the San Diego Chargers was just as prolific with QB Philip Rivers in 2006 as it was with QB Drew Brees in 2005. Brees left for the New Orleans Saintsafter the 2005 season. Chambers describes his new role in the offense as "freedom," and his goals for the 2007 season are to finish with close to 80 catches and 10 touchdowns. |

Booker will prove to be a great back and maybe better than Ronnie Brown (or anyone for that matter) even imagines right now. He was underutilized at FSU and is now going to get not only carries, but receptions which will prove how vital he truly is.
Chambers has always been Miami's "go-to" guy, yet only 1 season did the coach (Nick Saban) actually center Miami's playcalling around Chambers. The constant change at offensive coordinator led to the constant change in a new offensive scheme, which has inhibited Chambers from being what he truly is, a big play, deep threat reciever. |

Miami stinks. Trent Green? Ronnie Brown is way overrated and Chambers disappeared last season.
Good defense and it's good to see Thomas back but they can't do enough to carry that craptacular offense. |
