Default Two part Tight End question

1. Who do you think is the top TE in the game right now?

2. Who do you think will end up replacing him?

My answer

Top TE today is Gates and Winslow Jr will replace him.

I also think Gates is the best, but he is too young to tell who is going to replace him. He has been playing for one more year than Winslow I believe, and plays on a better overall team with a better offense. He will still be elite as long as Winslow stays productive.

I agree with Gates, and I think Vernon Davis is the replacement

Pretty much.

Although I'd have to throw Jason Witten up there as one of the top 3 TEs in the game.

I definitely have him as a top 5, and his stats were depleted last season because of being used solely as an extra tackle when Bledsoe was playing. Vernon Davis could become better than Winslow, and his up and coming team/offense will help matters.

Antonio Gates right now.

Vernon Davis, or Greg Olsen for the future.
