Won't happen this year and MAYBE next year if Carr really steps it up. Delhomme got a lot of jeers for some of the mistakes he made. but he is a good quarterback and most importantly a leader. Carr needs to work on quite a few things before he's ready to start again, most notably being able to learn the NFL game at his own pace without getting sacked every other down.

6 weeks. Delhomme has been holding this team back for too long. He's an okay QB, he just won't help you win games.

The combo of Williams and Foster is going to open up the passing game. Add to that a combo of WRs like Smith/Colbert/Jarrett and you have a nice offense set up if only you can get a QB to help them out.

Say what you will about Carr but the guy never had a chance to actually play. He was always on his back.

Funny you say Delhomme sucks. Lord knows noone wants 18/27 201yds 3td 0int out of a QB. Delhomme played like a top 5 QB yesterday, I don't think anyone would pass up his performance.

Carr isn't ready. He is not nearly comfortable enough in the pocket and when he gets flushed he runs backwards. His throws are accurate but usually threw too early or too late and that lead to issues in preseason.

Delhomme proved yesterday he still has it, despite what many of the "only informed by ESPN" say.
