Saints first round draft pick Robert Meachem needs to have his right knee examined for a potential medial meniscus problem after he missed practices Sunday and Monday.

He'll be having surgery done to repair some torn knee cartilage.

It is scheduled for Tuesday, June 5th. He will be out for up to four weeks.
