This move kind of makes sense because of how much they are paying him in contrast to how many games he's played so far under this current contract. I'm not sure though as to what Miami could get for him since Culpepper is still recovering from his surgery THAT HAPPENED TWO YEARS AGO.

Oy.

Are Cleo Lemon and John Beck good enough backups that it can further justify cutting Culpepper?

Word is he'll be gone by the next minicamp, which is this weekend, by either a trade, or full release. The Dolphins are looking for a late-round draft pick for Culpepper.

Green will be the starter automatically.

Lemon is a decent QB. He played in the last 3 games of last season, and didn't do TOO bad. Beck is a mature 26 year old rookie, but I have faith in him if he gets to play.
