Ok people, the day you have all been waiting for is here! We are kind of caught in the middle of two months with the timing of implimenting these awards so they will be for JULY/AUGUST. From now on all Awards will be handed out monthly at the end of each month. That makes the next awards to be decided and announced at the end of September.

Now, without further ado...

"Wow, tough subject!

Well lets see my opion on the topic.. I guess I'm 50/50! When I got pregnant with my daughter I was 17 so naturally my mother wanted me to get the abortion. I did not want to even think about it. It isn't an option for me, or atleast wasn't at the time. But I can and do see why it would be for some girls, and don't judge that.

I have some questions though, for the pro-life people how do you feel about the selective abortions, when someone is pregnant with usually more than 3 babies and they decide to select one or more to abort, to help the survival rate of the others? Are you for or against this.

Also I have always wondered... if a girl gets pregnant and she wants an abortion she can just go and do it, or if she doesn't and the guy wants her to then she doesn't have to. Should the father of the baby have say in this matter (they may already do but i don't know the laws) I think they should. Just as jdmgold said his g/f had one and he wanted her to keep the pregnancy.

Another thing that really makes my skin crawl that fits in these lines is the fact that a woman can't have her tubes tied until age of 21 or two children meaning 2 different pregnancys. I think this is bull, it is HER body! What if she wants to not have kids and doesn't want to be on the pill forever or take shots or have the implant or always have to protect herself in that way"

I put in a BEST POST award instead of a best THREAD award. Because it would be hard to award someone with the best thread since it takes multiple people to make a thread good. You can have the best first post ever but unless others reply then its no good really.

But seriously Congrats to all of those who won and I hope we have more of this without any ill feelings to how the winners were selected. Maybe next time the mods can vote the winners? Just throwing an idea out there to make it better by allowing those who have been here the most have the final decision.
