Ps3 Vs. 360 - The Postgame Pub

Some one give me one good reason why XBUTT is even in the same league as the PS3. Pls no (xbox has more games crap) cause they might, but gears of war and bioshock are there only games to speak of. Pls spare me the halo crap cause thats all that series is is DOGSH!T!!

I really don't want to get involved in this, but I've gotta at least weigh in. I've got both, but if my roomate hadn't bought the ps3, I wouldn't have bothered. Its just a mashup of a pc/blue-ray/console. As a of its marginal at best, I have an easier time browsing on my iPod touch. As a blue-ray player...it works, nothing spectacular there. As a console its ok, i will bring up lack of games however, because its an issue. PS3 owners don't want it brought up because there's no defense. As far as framerates, resolution, etc, there's not enough difference to make an issue of. I've also found the 360's system to be much easier to navigate and work with.

Games may not be an issue by the end of the year, but that remains to be seen. Xbox live is easier to navigate than ps3's network and the downloads are substantially cheaper. Yes there's no monthly fee, but really, $8 a month? Gimme a break... Not to mention Live has more content available, plus exclusive content. Overall, ps3 just doesn't stack up.

So there isn't one person that can really defend the 360 thats pretty sad. Go's to show how inferior the 360 really is. All Microsoft did was put the same guts in a new case.

um hardware wise, all the ps3 has is a slightly faster CPU, inferior memory and a slower GPU, and yes it has blu-ray but guess what? IF a pC doesnt need more than 1 DVD for games, neither does the 360. Answer this bro, why does GTA 4 on the ps3 run at a lower resolution to achieve a stable framerate. Same thing happened on NCAA football and Madden last year. Ill tell you wise, the ps3 was never a gaming console, it was a trojan horse to help blu-ray wint he format war (and since winning the war blu-rays sales are down over 50%). The 360 may have had a year head start but its still outselling the ps3 and has 11-12 million more consoles sold over the 360. There is no contest.....as Ari would say...GOOD DAY

Sorry chubs the Ps3 has the cpu, has the video, has a high def set up, u dont have to pay for online, dont have to pay for chargeable controllers, dont need to pay for wireless, hdmi, easy internet access, memery card readers, larger hard drives, and the games have way more potential. trust me the 360s games sucked ass when they droped but atleast the PS3 isnt stuck on the same old tech. And the only place the 360 outsells the PS3 is in the us world wide 360 gets smashed. nice debate look foward to more. Chop this one to the PS3! and the frame work on GTA4 is just under the frame rate of the 360 but when ur running 1080p what can u expect put them together the ps3 version looks better. wrong about the video, HDMi is on all new consoles. Remember the 360 is a....GAMING Console..not a media center like the Sony made it to be in the first place. Remember GTA 4 is running at the same framerate with the 360 version because why? They had to go from 720p down to 630p. 630p is not HD. Larger hardrives have no effect on system potential unless you are installing games on the hard drive. And there only 2 games running at 1080p on the ps3...2. Lets not forget the 360 can upscale and AA to 1080p more effeciently than the ps3. The GPU is faster and doesnt have a memory bottleneck like the PS3 has. Lets also not forget the 360 doesnt have all of those addons like blutooth etc because remember the 360 eas 200 cheaper than the ps3 when it came out
