With the release date ever so close, I thought a thread would be in order.
A discussion thread for pics, suspension setups, cars for sale, rank, etc etc. As for now, thoughts on the demo? Quick Review: Sound: Amazing. (Hondas have vtec, v8's sound like v8's) Graphics: Great. (Cars look great, track looks great, but scenery could use a touch) Physics: Great. (Braking system is awesome (abs and non abs make the difference; See Difficulty) Feel for racing: Good. (Generic guage cluster feels cheesy. Hood view is ok, but cannot use rearview mirror in this view. ) Damage: Amazing. (Anything and everything can (and will) be broken off the car and will sit on the track the entire race. You can also hit these peices in the road and the sound of screeching metal makes for a realistic feel.) Difficulty: This is what will make the game fun. I played without any aids except for abs. This seemed to be a pretty level setup. However, wothout abs the brakes lock up and you cannot turn under heavy braking; very difficult, yet very fun. Overall: I love the game! The C and A class cars were fun to drive, but the superclass cars are simply amzing. They look, feel, and sound extremely different and actually FEEL like race cars. I drove the 550m Maranello and was blown away. Ive been to the 24hr race and heard ferrari's at redline, this sounds exactly like it!!! It also starts breaking loose to one side when in second gear and full throttle, so you have to be careful not to spin out even when going straight. Ohh and the c6R is just Nasty! |

The demo is out?!?!
Where have I been? EDIT: The game looks pretty good. I only tested out the DC5-R, and E36 M3. Handling seems to be very realistic, and damage is a nice touch. I'm going to mess around with the ABS, and such tomorrow. :D

For the game I really like demo so far.
