Don't bother with the core. Go either premium, or elite.

The elite has the 120GB HDD, built-in HDMI (you just get the cable with 3 standard component cables, and 3 HD cables with the premium), and the sleek black look.

I know I'll never use up the 20GB on my HDD. I delete demos once I'm done with them, and I still have plenty of space left on mine. But if you're looking to download movies, and TV shows from the Marketplace, you have to get the 120GB HDD.

360 has great content, but don't deal with their POS hardware. I almost got one. So close. I went to the store and the console on dispaly had the RROD lol.

I took that as a warning. So now, I only have a ps3. Great content and great holiday matchup. With Bungie going independent, I have no need to get a 360. Of course, HALO is stuck on 360 forever, but eh. You don't have to pay for ps3 online, because they make their money through revenue so some say.

With the 400$ Ps3 coming out, I assume it's a hard choice.

I have seen both consoles in action. They both look great graphics wise. But keep in mind dude, when you have the 360 those are the only games you can play on it. With the PS3 you can play any of the playstation games. Just something to keep in mind.
