You guys probably have seen the littl ebox under the message box when creating a new thread thats says tags. Those tags are searchable keywords for the thread. Pick your keywords put them in there. What that does is help with thread listings in google and other search engines.

i guess people still aren't smart enough to tag the threads they create for more traffic...

I know, I get mad about that too, but Im also guilty lol. Sometimes I do quick reply and just forget about tagging my posts. I really need to be more consistent with it though.

Chubz, is there a way with vBulletin that you can make it mandatory to add tags before it will accept the thread, we use tagging on our headlines and you can't put the story up until you have at least tagged it with something.
