Ideas for recruiting new members? - The Postgame Pub

I'd like to start recruiting members, members that would be active here. Anyone here got any ideas. Ive got a couple and they are sneaky and bad......spamming ESPN boards (got this idea from someone to remain nameless

).

List your ideas and let's actually plan to do them.

Join a lot of other sites then put your URL in your profile, here's a hint though my site got quite a few members that why because quite honestly I'm a chick into football, guys love that shit so they followed me back to my site. But joining other sites is a good although slow way to get members because you can talk to each other in PMs or IMs and say things like oh yeah I was on this one site PGP or Postgamepub and they have this thread there about whatever.

I have been wanting to blitz honda-tech.com's GDD where alot of the old OLF'ers still browse from time to time but until i get a few things for my new hatch i don't really want get banned just yet.

I have PGP's web address in my sig on every forum i'm a part of

I also have it listed as my web address on facebook.

I would go to places like yahoo where there are just loads of people in those chat rooms just trying to pick each other up, I've gotten a few people to register that way, you want to stay away from other football forums because a lot of them will come here and try the same thing and bad mouth you to other sites they know so you need to be careful.

Lets get the coasters made send them out to some members. Those members take said coasters to local sports bars and instead of using theirs, they use ours and leave them. wallah.... advertisement...

that's how i used to get my name out there when i was a rap artist. I'd leave my CD's in Bestbuys "top artists" rack

I made a thread on H-T and dropped PGP in it.

make a myspace page and invite EVERYONE as a friend....

spammign other forums are never a good idea...for one...it usually gets deleted before people see it and two...most people cant stand it and then they make a point to not visit
