Arrow Wo0t - Picking up my Canon XTi today (400d)
I'm getting it off a local Honda-Tech member. It's a great deal. Its a few months old and comes with the card and lense for 500. I couldn't pass it up. Anyone have any tips or suggestions?

thanx man. I was also looking at the Nikon D80. But this deal made more sense for me right now, as I already am familiar with Canon's layout and stuff. However both cameras are pretty much the same.

Yea the only bad thing about Cannon is the fact that you can not use off camera flash...with the D80 you can control 3 flashes off camera...so that was a selling point for me anyway

I too am looking for a new camera, my father in law is a die hard nikon guy( has a d70 and looking at a d300) and my uncle is a die hard cannon fan (has a eos 5d) and i am hoping that one of them will upgrade soon

i picked it up, there is a slight scratch ont he LCD screen. im assuiming its just the outer screen. Im going to take it to a repair shop to see if it can be fixed, otherwise its flawless and and takes great pics
