Magic Johnson Vs Larry Bird
Who was the better player between the 2. Magic had a great career, but I think Bird was the better player. Bird wasn't exactly an athlete on the levels of Johnson but he he willed himself and I think that made him the better player.

Honestly I think Magic was the second best player of all time. I would take him over anyone but Jordan. Could play all 5 spots on the floor. Rediculously skilled and was 6-9. Unselfishness like that from a player of that caliber is very rare.

Idk but for some reason I didn't like that magic was a pg when he was 6'9!!!! He's a great player dont get me wrong I just feel that he had a size advantage perhaps???
Magic imo better than Bird.

Magic easy but that doesnt downplay Larry as he is the greatest white player in league history. He wasnt flashy at anything but above average in all aspects of the game. Jordan was obv a little bit more talented but Magic is as clse as you can get for an arguement of anyone better than MJ

I wasn't blessed enough to get to watch these guys live, but from the footage I've seen Magic is probably in the top 5 of all time with me ranking Bird just out of it. Bird was a very talented player, but Magic was a 6-9 point guard who could really do it all. It's a tough battle, but Magic was just amazing from what I've seen.
To be fair though, while there is potential we might see another Jordan or Magic or the players we can compare them too, I don't see there ever being another Bird. |
