it doesnt matter..its like the cowboys, the yankees, and the lakers....

no matter what their record is they always have fans nationwide.....

Notre Dame has the largest fan base nation wide and also is the most exposed team by having a National game every week...they will never be irrelevant

NBC thinks everybody wants to watch Notre Dame. In fact, nobody really cares. At least I don't care. I think that the public wants to see the top teams or their own teams, rather than one team that a public network thinks you want to see. I'd rather see the worst team in college football play on NBC than Notre Dame.

I dont think so, Like P J said, there are so many fans for Notre Dame. Regardless of their record, they'll always have that big fan base.

And Chubz, They haven't won many games in the last couple years, but they'll be back on top soon enough...
