Bears QB history 101 - Sports, Baseball, Football, Basketball and Off-Topic Discussion Forum

I thought I'd list the QB's that have been the starters since Jim McMahon left the Bears. This team is a curse for QB's, and they've had over 20 different starters. This list includes players that have played when McMahon was there and after he left. Some of these names might trigger memories, but here's a good idea who's been starting in the Windy City. The list below is the QB's and the years they started 1 or more games.

McMahon (1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988)

This does not count QB's Jeff Blake or Cory Sauter. Blake appered in relief, but never started a game. Sauter was the 3rd string QB, and never made it on the field. But if you count total QB's since the 1985 Bears Super Bowl win, they've used a total of 28 QB's.

If anything needs to be done, it's that the Bears need somebody that can be a consistant QB.

"dear bears fans, you have had 1 good QB in your teams history...and he wasnt even THAT good...since him you have had a bunch of bums that havent played more than 3 full seasons for the team..sorry about your luck"
