The Edge, Edgerrin James, has asked to be released from the Cardinals, but they're not willing to let him go.

I think it's fair to say that James has been a bust for the Cardinals. Agree?

James is just getting old and past his prime, period. It's pretty bad when a rookie averaging barely 3 ypc takes all of your carries...

I knew that Edge's days were numbered once Hightower's name was announced on draft day.

And isn't he the #3 behind Arrington now? Ouch.

After the first year that Edge was in Arizona, I saw his YPC drop and the first thing I thought was that it was another Emmitt Smith. Arizona gets a RB past his prime and his stats drop. Even if he's released, I think James is done.
