Betting can be freely discussed here.

NO real money bets can, or will be made on the board. This is due to legal reasons.

However, you can bet through email, or instant messenger, but keep in mind that we will not be responsibility for the actual betting, and its results.

Can you touch on talking about real betting but just not on this site?

For an example: Asking someone about the spread of a certain game.

Just wanted to make sure everyone here knows the dos and don'ts

yeah that kin dof stuff is ok. We just cant be a medium that has anything to do with money exchanging. I dont need the Feds knocking my door down on a sunday morning lol

Right. Betting lines are available on about 23897023487 websites and just about every newspaper in the country. That sort of discussion should be fine, and I don't think anyone will kick up a fuss if we start discussing which lines are legit and which are bogus.

What won't be tolerated, as I understand it, is someone posting "Hey Spike, throw $20 on Seattle for me this week." And links to off-shore betting sites will also be edited to show naked pictures of a random administrator's mom.
