Honestly I can't believe that any hard core gamers or football fans are still buying this crapware. I haven't purchased a Madden game since 2000 which was weak. The game has been dumbed down so any one can pick it up and ball. This is not a good thing no matter what EA says! Think about it, why do we love the real game? Is it because any over weight weekend baller can get out there and play with Randy Moss? No, it's because these guys spend the time it takes to become the best, EA totally sells out to the masses, year in and year out. I respect the guys that spend hours learning to really play a game, (think quake). And if you dont want to learn WHY the cover 2 works when you have 4 down linemen that can be pressure, then you should get killed when you play a guy that does. EA wont get any of my money for Madden until the get back to the core gamers that keep the game a float before the "casual gamers" came along. If you're looking for me I"ll be playing the MLB The Show 08......

I have to disagree. I believe that 06 and 07 were weak only because of the transition to the new generation of consoles. But '08 was a bounce back year for the franchise, and I love how it combines performance with quality graphics. You have to know the controls and know your money plays, but there is no way that anyone can beat anyone in this game. You gotta know your shit.
