thats how most people are....but in the other sports defense, NFL only plays 16 games...its easier to keep track...MLB just gets out of control...162 GAMES, DAMN......

PJ every team has a fan base, I interpreted "nobody cares about" as being there is just such a lack of interest in the team, whether it be because they suck or they don't appeal to an audience outside of their hometown. Like Tampa vs. Oakland in the Super Bowl, it was a shitty game and had 2 teams that outside of 2 markets have no real fan base.

Your crazy if you think nobody cares about Oakland. Im not an Oakland Homer but they have a HUGE fan base around the entire country. They are one of the most recognizable franchises in all of sports. Period. The last 5 years they have been a joke, but overall they are a major sporting icon. The Raiders are not some small market BLAH team.


Teams like-Oakland Raiders-Dallas Cowboys-NY Yankees-Lakers ect are huge franchises that are relevant no matter how bad they do.

Lol. You're just jealous that Qwest Field was designed to be the loudest stadium in the NFL. You might have the advantage this year though. The Giants/Seahawks rivalry is in New York this year. But hey, Shockey won't make an ass of himself if it ends up in a kickers duel.

I remember I was bashing the Giants owner or GM or somebody in 2006 because he was complaining about Qwest Field pumping noise in through the speakers. I just remember cracking up because the Giants had false start penalties, even with a NFL guy in the sound system booth.

But it's the design of the stadium that makes it loud. It was originally made for more of like protection of the fans from the weather elements. Paul Allen didn't want a retractable roof, so the design for Qwest came out the way it currently is. But I remember reading that the design of the Stadium was made so that it made it hard for the opposing team to even hear anything. Even in the old Kingdome, it'd been known to be one of the loudest places in the NFL.
