Since starting at my new gym, I've decided that its probably a good idea for me to be doing a little more to help my body out. I've been taking multivitamins and fish oil for a couple years now, but I saw the EAS Myoplex shakes at the grocery store, figured I'd give the label a read and it sounded decent to me.
I'm not trying to be a bodybuilder or get huge, I just train for MMA. I also dont have the money for a whole lot of supplements, not that they'd do me much good anyway since I can only get in the gym 4 days a week. This seemed like the best thing for what I'm doing currently, but honestly, am I wasting my money? |

For those of you familiar with supplements but not this in particular, here is a brief rundown: 300 cal premade protein shake with 42g protein, 850mg potassium, and between 40 and 100% of pretty much all your vitamins and minerals, except iron and copper, only get 15% of those.

I use EAS protein shakes myself. Good stuff man. Im upgrading to Whey Protein soon though. Just more grams of protein per serving. But the myoplex stuff is still pretty good for in between meals or after workouts.

Well, it IS promoted by Brady Quinn.
On a serious note, we sell that stuff at work, so I am slightly familiar with it. However, let me talk to my one friend, and I'll post what he says. |

I use to drink them. They were too expensive so I stopped. I like to mix my own since it is best to have a lot of carbs with a Post Workout Shake.
