Low carb diets are not a good idea. Your body needs good carbohydrates, such as those found in whole grains and fruits.Low fat is a good idea, but your body does need some good fats as well - the monounsaturated and polyunsatured varieties. Not only do they increase nutrient absorption, they have also been proven to assist with both weight loss and fat loss.

Update, i have been at 240 for a week or so, i messed up my knee so i can do limited cardio. so i have hit a wall

update, about two weeks after my last update i got down to 230.
i stopped the diet on oct 1st and started slowly eating carbs again. im at 235~ or so. i have not done any cardio in WEEKS, i just got back from a 4 mile ride and i feel pretty good. i really need to get back on track with the eating routine the 6-7 small meals a day. |
